Commercial Cleanouts in Valrico, FL

Commercial Cleanouts · Valrico, FL

Retail, office and warehouse space emptied and hauled away

Global Construction and Home Repair handles commercial cleanouts across the Tampa Bay area. A tenant moves out and leaves shelving, counters, office furniture and trash behind. We bring trucks and trailers, empty the space and haul everything off. You end up with a building you can show, lease or start work in.

We are based in Valrico and cover about a 50 mile radius from there. Demolition is the bulk of our work, so a cleanout is familiar ground for the crew. When the space also needs walls or built-ins taken out, we handle the interior demolition on the same job. Call or text (813) 239-4231 for a free estimate.

What a commercial property cleanout includes

A cleanout starts with whatever is left in the building. That can be office furniture, store shelving, warehouse racking and boxes of old paperwork. Restaurant spaces usually leave behind prep tables, wire shelving and loose fixtures. It can also be years of trash piled in a back room.

Built-ins usually go with it. We cut out counters, display walls, cabinets, old signage and light fixtures the next tenant does not want. Worn flooring, carpet and ceiling tile come up in the same pass.

Most owners want a clean shell they can lease or build out. We work off a short list of what stays and what goes. Anything you want kept gets set aside before the loading starts. If the plan is bigger than a cleanout, we can price taking the building down instead.

Tenant cleanouts for landlords and property managers

Turnover brings in most of these calls. A lease ends, or a tenant leaves early, and the unit is full of things nobody claimed. We meet you or your property manager at the building and price the cleanout on the spot.

Florida has notice rules for personal property a former tenant leaves behind. They sit in the Disposition of Personal Property Landlord and Tenant Act, Florida Statutes 715.10 to 715.111. Your attorney or property manager tells you when that notice has run. We schedule the cleanout for after that.

Foreclosure and abandoned property jobs run the same way. Tell us how to get in, what stays and what goes, and we clear the rest. Storage rooms and back-of-house areas usually hold the most, so plan for those to take the longest.

Trash removal and hauling after the cleanout

Everything we pull out leaves in our trucks. Most of a cleanout is hand loading into dump trucks and trailers. We stage the load at a door or a dock so the trucks turn around quickly. The excavator comes in for heavy built-ins, outside piles and slab work.

Loads go to county landfills and to construction and demolition recycling facilities. What goes where depends on the material and on what the facility takes that day. We keep the load sorted on the way out.

A cleanout often runs straight into a build-out. Once the new work starts, the same trucks handle the construction debris hauling for the contractor. That keeps the emptying and the rebuild debris on one call.

How We Work

How a Job With Global Construction Runs

From the first call or text to the clean lot at the end, here is how it goes.

1

Call or text

Call or text (813) 239-4231 with the address and what needs to come down. Photos of the structure help before we come out.

2

We look at the site

We come to the property and look at the structure or the lot. Size, what it is built of, access for the machines and where the debris goes all set the price. The estimate is free.

3

Permits and utilities

Hillsborough County requires a demolition permit, and it wants utility sign-offs before it issues one. A licensed asbestos inspector surveys the buildings the state rule covers. We work around the permit and the survey, and we confirm what your address needs.

4

The teardown

The excavator comes in and the structure comes down. Anything you are keeping stays protected while that happens. Debris goes into dump trucks and trailers as we work.

5

A clean lot

The last loads go out, and the slab and foundation go with them when you want them gone. We grade the ground so the lot sits level. Then you have a lot you can build on, sell or use.

FAQ

Commercial Cleanouts Questions, Answered

Common questions about commercial cleanouts across the Tampa Bay area. If yours is not here, call or text and ask.

Call (813) 239-4231

What does a commercial cleanout cost?
It depends on how much is in the space and how heavy it is. Distance to the truck and built-in removal also change the number. We look at the building first and give you a free estimate, and nothing moves until you approve it.
Do you take chemicals, paint or fuel?
Those go to a hazardous waste handler. Point them out when we look at the space, and we will tell you what we can load. Everything else, from furniture to shelving to general trash, goes in our trucks.
Can you clear out a rental house or apartment?
Yes. We do rental property cleanouts for owners, landlords and property managers, the same as a retail or office space. Turnover and foreclosure jobs are the common ones. Tell us the address and how to get in.
How long does a commercial cleanout take?
It depends on the size of the space and how full it is. A small office is often a day of work. A full warehouse or restaurant takes longer, and we give you a timeline with the estimate.
Do I need a permit for a cleanout?
Clearing contents out is usually not permit work. Once walls, ceilings or built-ins start coming out, check with the permit office that covers the property. Older buildings need an asbestos survey before interior demolition. A licensed asbestos inspector handles that part, and we schedule our work around it.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Valrico and work about 50 miles out, which covers Hillsborough, Polk and Pasco counties. That includes Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Plant City, Lakeland and Wesley Chapel. See the towns we cover for the full list, or call or text (813) 239-4231.

Built for Demolition Work in the Tampa Bay Area

More than 30 years of demolition work

The demolition and construction work behind this company goes back more than three decades in the Tampa Bay area. Houses, garages, commercial buildings, pools and mobile homes have all come down. Storm and flood teardowns are part of that record.

The whole job from one company

One company takes the structure down, hauls the debris off and grades what is left. The dirt work after a teardown runs on the same job and the same schedule. That is one number to call, from the estimate to the finished lot.

Based in Valrico, working the Tampa Bay area

We work about 50 miles out from Valrico. That covers Hillsborough County towns like Tampa, Brandon, Riverview and Plant City, plus Lakeland and Winter Haven in Polk County. Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills and Land O' Lakes in Pasco County are in range too.
